We are now functioning as one unit, and communicating to sort out any bugs in our system and achieve our goals as a company. The Scenario:

It’s been said, “To understand a man, you've got to walk a mile in his shoes, whether they fit or not.” It’s hard for most of us to imagine coping with a disability in a developing country with little or no support. But this is the reality for thousands of people in Kijabe, Kenya.

By partnering with a children’s hospital in Kijabe, Keyna, this program will have your team stepping up to compete, to perform and to help our global neighbours by providing the necessary prosthetic devices that will be life-changing to the people they serve in their community. All while having fun and building relationships!

You may never walk a mile in their shoes, but thanks to the efforts of your team, they will be able to!

The Program:

  • Your team will be divided into small competitive teams - each team will be given the profile of one of our Kenyan neighbours
  • Teams will complete a variety of challenges that will earn them points and parts for the final prosthesis assembly
  • Each challenge will be followed by discussions that will link experiences back to workplace reality
  • Program concludes with a message from our partners in Kenya and award ceremony for the winning team who accumulated the most points

  • Encouraging social responsibility by giving back to the global community
  • Idenifying and practising the skills needed for team success
  • Fostering effective communication
  • Allowing teams to have fun and play with a purpose
