Conflict can lead to powerful innovation or total destruction. This workshop introduces positive ways to look at our differences, resolve conflict, and find common ground in a team setting. We examine five common sources of conflict and learn how to recognize them. We then assess individual conflict styles and provide several simple tools for managing conflict in the workplace.

How can you turn your organization’s managers into a team of effective leaders? We examine the nature of leadership and how to become deliberate leaders – those who recognize and respond effectively to the most challenging leadership situations. We will recommend appropriate tools such as Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Emotional Intelligence® and the LEAD® Inventory.

Effective communication is cited as the number one challenge by all organizations worldwide. In this workshop, we address interpersonal and interdepartmental communications challenges. We assess personal communication styles and examine how to connect better with others through hands-on, engaging activities and the tools of active listening.

In Managing Change we explore the link between our need for innovation and our struggle to cope with the change it inevitably entails. Teams develop strategies to move from denying to embracing - even driving - change. A minimum of 1/2 day is recommended.
In Organizational Change we examine how to initiate, plan and implement a major organizational change from a leadership perspective. We recommend a multi-day, multi- stage approach to the training.

Trust is the foundation of effective teamwork and collaboration. It enables sensible risk-taking and initiative. This session examines our perceptions of risk and how to develop a solid foundation of trust. Participants extend their own comfort zones, take initiative, and benefit from a team where trust and support are the norm. Dramatic high ropes course options enhance this workshop.
